Good bye, 2010.

HAIR 2010.

FILMS of 2010.
- Frequently Ask Questions about Time Travel (2009) O yeh, typical British (light) comedy film..and LOVE it.!
- Last of the Mohicans (1992) One of those Venus' recommendations. Well made film, so impressive.
- Moon (2009) A clever, very interesting film. Wonder what inspired Zowie to use Korean word though.?
- Up (2009) Another epic animation...
- Runaways (2010) Not very impressed...seriously it could've been much better. For me it was rather like a watered down version for teenagers.
- Back To The Future (re release, 2010) Couldn't believe they re released this.! My god, I was so happy watching this film with big screen, and ben&jerrys.!!!
- The Green Berets (1968) Two thumbs up. Venus' recommendation no.01
- Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) Another great film from Venus' recommendation list.! :-)
- Toy Story 3 (2010) A masterpiece of Toy Story trilogy. I couldn't help myself tears coming from my eyes...
- Monsters (2010) Was an unusual film in many ways...
- Machete (2010) THE BEST.!!! So sad that Machete don't blog.
- Still Crazy (1998) Venus' recommendation. Reminded me a film "Almost Famous" but it's just because of the band name "Still Water" there I guess.
- Gran Torino (2008) A great film, should've seen it earlier.
- Gulliver's Travels (2010) Billy Connolly, Chris O'Dowd, Jack Black...enough said.

MUSIC of 2010.
- "October Rust", Type O Negative
What can I say.? This is a must for TON fans. I miss Pete so much. You'd never expect someone would just disappear like that.
- "Screamworks : Love in Theory and Practice", HIM
Good work, you cannot miss out his improved vocals and songwriting. But I rather prefer earlier work - the first one to Dark Lights.
- "Fever", Bullet For My Valentine
Christ. You wouldn't believe how much I was disappointed.
- "Hearts Burst Into Fire", Bullet For My Valentine
Only bought this single for the artwork I've seen on HMV web, but the actual artwork was totally different. What a rip off.! Well it's just for a collection as I am STILL a fan.
- "We're In This Together", Nine Inch Nails
Collecting Halos.
- "Freak On Leash", KoRn
One of my fave song of them.
- "From Here to Hearse", Wednesday 13 (12" Vinyl)
Only 1,000 copies limited edition.! How could I resist.! It's so well made and the purple record is just so great. Can't wait to play it when I get a record player.!
- "Follow the Leader", KoRn
Following the single I bought earlier...great album though many people hate it.
- "Toxicity" ltd edition, System Of A Down
For amazing price £2.00, from my local charity.
- "Highway to Hangovers", Bourbon Crow
Finally I got it. No UK retailers sell their albums so had to order from US website. Well, it was totally worth all the hassles.!
- "Long Way to the Bottom", Bourbon Crow
Purchased with the one above. Personally I prefer the first album.
- "Alien", Strapping Young Lad
They are so good.
- "Fiction", Dark Tranquillity
Oh yeh them too.
- "Diary of a Mad Man", Ozzy Osbourne
A must for Ozzy fans.
- "Women and Children First", Murderdolls
Have got so many things to say about this as I had to wait a fortnight to get it AFTER its release date. What the fukk.? Seriously. Do yanks not know the meaning of 'PRE-ORDER'.? Great album though. I am just pleased as fkk to see them play songs again.
- "Songs from the Wood", Jethro Tull
You've just got to buy it.
- "The Devil You Know", Heaven and Hell
Late buy for being a Dio's long time fan..Another great musician's gone.
- "The Best of the Specials", The Specials
If you ever like two tone music.? They make me dance.!
- "The World is Yours", Motorhead (from Classic Rock special magazine)
Happy to see he's still going on. Happy to know there're still some musicians I can admire + buy albums.
- "Master of Reality", Black Sabbath
Was so frustrated picking just one from all their albums.! Gonna collect them all.
- "Further Down the Spiral", Nine Inch Nails
Collecting Halos II.

COMEDY/TV kept me alive 2010.
- Still Game
BIG thanks to my Venus who introduced me this wonderful series. I've watched the whole series (+Christmas specials) over and over again this year.
- Chewin' the Fat
Another great introduction to the Jock. :-)
- Black Books
Cannot remember how many times I've been watching them now...since 2006.
- IT Crowd
Them too. Was so damn happy to see a new series this year.!!
- Father Ted
O faither, would ye like a cup o'tae.?
- NCIS
Had spent some time for catching up. They're still good.
- The Simpsons
No comment needed I guess.?
- Futurama
Same as the one above..
- The Young Ones
Brilliant. Just brilliant. Always makes me laugh.!
- This Is England '86
To be honest, I couldn't really finish watching this. It is a pretty heavy stuff, so depressive and sad...but true stories. If you were a fan of This is England (film), I would recommend it, but this is much heavier than that.
- The Mighty Boosh
Please make a new one please. Am waiting.!!!
- Letterman's Late Show
As always.
- Never Mind the Buzzcocks
Again thanks to my Venus for this. Enjoy watching them, but it is quite bitter after hearing the behind story from Bill Bailey about how badly he was treated by BBC kunts.
- Generation Kill
Good + realistic series about US Marines in Iraq 2003. But could never finish them cos they're just toooooo lonnnggggg...

BIG EVENTS/ACHIEVEMENT 2010.
- Passed IELTS with an extraordinary result.
- Entered to BA Illustration at Camberwell art college.
- Got a bit more interests in...cooking stuff. O fukk.
- Got shocked by spending over 60 quid for some watercolours. Seriously I was shocked all night that day.
- Watched an election in the UK for the first time. Hopes and disappointments everywhere. Sincerely congratulated the gay gov they've achieved. I mean, "gay" with that meaning.
- Put extra beef on.

BIG F Us 2010.
- S I. You had added yourself in my 'mental bitches list' kindly and made me start the year with so many excitements. Well thank you for your dramas + lies, and for having fukked off yourself.
- S II. Nothing much to say but this - No matter how hard you try, you will fail. No more dramas and games please. Leave, me, alone. And please get a life.
- L. A perfect example of a woman goes insane and do crazy things when she's got no friends. One word.? Psycho.

This year, 2010, was a very - strangely - quick one for me. It feels like am still there in my flat, sitting with bunch of portfolio preparation work and all. I have achieved successes for all major hard work this year. Some I am not satisfied with the result -even though I got a success - , some I am very proud of.

This year was a hard one as I have experienced so many mental dramas occurred by some time-wasters and had to overcome the great stress from it. One thing's for sure is that I wouldn't be as much stressed as I had been - because I have been learning how to deal with those people, how to ignore them. I guess I will still suffer, but the damage will be smaller.

This year was also a great challenge for me, living on my own for the first time. Also I have started a wee business which brought me a success.

There are numbers of people who inspired and gave me much power throughout the year. I would like to send big thanks to them all, and hugs and kisses with thanks to my Venus who is always so supportive and inspirational, and who is my other heart.

I hope 2011 will be full of excitement, laughs, and adventures.

The Bunny God save us all.!

  1. Thanks for your comment on my blog, I thought I'd return the favour. All I can say, if we pretty much have a lot in common film and TV wise. Plus there are one or two albums that I love (HIM :D)
Lets hope 2011 is just as awesome for the both of us.
